* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northern Indiana, including the following counties, in north central Indiana, Kosciusko. In northern Indiana, Fulton IN, La Porte, Marshall, Pulaski, Starke and White.
* WHEN...Until 215 PM EDT /115 PM CDT/ Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 806 AM EDT /706 AM CDT/, the public reported heavy rain in the advisory area. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Plymouth, Rochester, Knox, Winamac, Bourbon, Monon, North Judson, Argos, Culver, Mentone, Francesville, Medaryville, La Crosse, Pulaski, Walnut, Tippecanoe, Oak Grove, Ripley, Kewanna and Etna Green. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood


Avoid the event

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
